Petone Beach

Petone Beach is our beach day favourite, not least due to the large number of natural treasures that wash up on the shores - think driftwood, shells, crabs and more! There are always materials to build and create.

The water here is safe: calm and shallow, and clear enough to see the bottom, so perfect for a paddle on a warm day - and, let's face it, on cooler days too. We always recommend bringing a towel and change of clothes as Muddy Toes kids just can't help themselves!
